I rarely read books and if I ever do, it's probably a very good one. I'm an artist (one that paint and
draw) and I happen to come across this one called "Ways of Seeing" by John Berger.

This book is based on the BBC television series and is written by John Berger, Sven Blomberg, Chris Fox,
    Michael Dibb and Richard Hollis.

This book talks about "SEEING" I highly recommend this book for those that are visual or would like to
learn about "SEEING" in general. It talks about painting and communication, basically anything that has
    to do with seeing.

    here's an excerpt:

This book is small and convenient.

good luck if you're hunting for the book!

What a wonderful view on "seeing"!

My father in law travels to Paris almost every year and always brings me books of paintings from the different galleries. Van Gogh, Picasso. He tries to explain the details of the art that is missed in the photos - but it's just not the same. Aaah someday maybe I'll get to see them myself.

I'm going to have to try and find a copy of his book, Tablet, from what you have included here - it sounds like a great read.
