It seems like every day scientists have something new to amaze and astound us.

While these tests have only been conducted on dogs and the human spinal cord is much different than a dogs - the results of these experiments show significant promise in the area of spinal cord injuries

Can you imagine one day being able to recover from a spinal cord injury just by getting an injection to repair nerve cells?

I thought a really interesting part of the report was that the new treatment is so similar to antifreee, which is lethal to dogs. Just this weekend we had an antifreeze poisoning case, they're so sad. It amazes me that scientists are able to tweak chemical structure just enough to create make things like that beneficial!
