    I find this interesting because it's what JC have been talking about. Now I'm a little confuse to where I should place this thread because we already have one on "Speed of Light" and Time Travel related. So if it doesn't belong here then move it or merge it with existen thread.

    I remember the example about the amulance coming towards you and the pitch of the siren changing as it passed because of the compressed soundwaves voor and then lengthening behind.
    Doppler effect I think it's called.
    Have you come across anything that relates this effect to light.
    In the aeroplane example it seems that light waves are exempt from this law.
