For all of you Microsft haters, here is your favorite Linux machines rated #1.
For windows hater, get mandrake. It's WIndows XP look alike. But better and it's free! IT'S LINUX!!
I don't use it because there are few software that I use that doesn't supported by mandrake. However I heard that there's way around that. An emulator that can run xp software within mandrake.
Its called WINE...it can run Windows programs within a Linux shell.
And if you want an ACTUAL Windows look alike, itd be Lindows (now Linspire) but I would never suggest that, since it sucks donkey balls.
Good ole Linux...got DD (Dedicated Debian) running next to me, and Slackware on my dualboot here.
As you can see from my avatar I'm a linux dude. Its stable and reliable. Most of the Internet's permenatly connected computers i.e. servers run Linux. If you dont like any particular version of linux learn C and make your own, the source is available for free. It has to be, its covered under GNU.
