Discussion in 'Puzzles & Games' started by Star and Crescent, Sep 1, 2004.

  1. A man is trapped in a room with no windows, doors or entrances of any kind. His captors have only provided him with two objects in the room, a small table and a mirror so he could watch himself die. How did he escape?

    Let's see....(pun intended...)

    Would he have...
Looked into the mirror to see what he saw...
    Took the saw....
Cut a whole in the wall...
And walked out through the hole??

  3. CLOSE!

Actually its he would look into the mirror to see what he saw. He takes the saw and cuts the table in half. He put the two halves together to make a whole, and he crawls out through the hole! Nice job.

    cut the table in half.
put the table together again to make a whole.
    climb through the whole
whistle until his voice was hoarse.
and ride the horse into town

  7. Never heard the variation with the horse but I like it! You are right throughout the rest of the riddle though.
