This story absolutely blew me away and had to share it with you all.

I try to imagine what these people were like, what their daily lives entailed and I have to admit I never thought about music.

Intresting. That sets music back as one of the earilest art forms! I wonder if they are going to recreate it with a computer and get someone to try to play it? That would be intresting indeed. As music being perty much the center of my life this is very intresting. I want to know what the music sounded like really... But I know that we will never actually know how it sounded. That is amazing though that people that long ago cared about music.

I was thinking the same thing - what did their music sound like? Was it used in a ritual or for enjoyment? It's just too bad that it is lost to time and can never be appreciated - that is unless it sounds like one of my kids practicing the piano. (shivers)
