Found these on the net anyone now who they are by? What do you think?

We are the friends than never can be,
So close that all is impossible,
Its like carrying a rare precious gift
Of glass so easily broken by other thoughts

    Sitting across the room,
I want to cross the line,
    Leave consequence in its seat.
    Make this love complete.

I wish I were as brave as you,
To fight the feelings that can

Now every song has a meaning,
    That wasn’t there before.
    Every voice a truth
It makes me feel a different way
    Something you have let loose

From the birds in the trees
    To people in the street
    Walkin round living lives
They all seem to be talking about what lies beneath

    An amazingly different feeling,
    Love combined with pain
Beauty mixed with truth ,will they ever sing the same again?

I could find nothing on google, which means we can rule out most music lyrics. There's not much rhyming, so I think it's pretty modern. The rhythm is also a bit strange, surely not dactylic hexameter or another classic metrum. But then again, classic metra are almost impossible to do in germanic languages.
  6. It is a little boring, and seems the writer is in need of some "pizzazz."
The poem needs something. I agree with the other person.:p

Well, those might be just a translation. The poems might have been originally in some other language.

sounds like a self loathing love poem to me . Wallflower (maybe a computer nerd?) looking across the cubicles to his or her dream .

The line : "I wish I was as brave as you , to fight the feelings..." kind of throws me a bit . As if the accepted norm is to fight your true feelings .

Kinda mushy , but understandable , we all have those songs , sounds , smells and images that take us back to that one person we never pursued . ( at least I do )
