I did some research recently for a friend and co-worker who's wife had a stroke(she is only 40). I am passing that info on to ID members.

One interesting test mentioned in the article above is the UltraFast CT scan to determine the risk of further stroke." I have been taking high dose Vitamin C for 34 years, and have almost no measurable arterial plaque by Ultrafast CT scan (one extremely small spot measuring 34, where 0-100 is low plaque, 100- 400 is medium and above 400 is extensive plaque)," . Have you been given or taken this test ?

smoking , estrogen replacement, birth control pills, heavy alcohol use, and high fat diets are also big risk factors for stroke for women.
To follow one of these regimens for a 16 hr day: one 250 mg vitamin C every 2 hrs, one 500 mg Proline and one 500mg Lysine every 4hrs on an empty stomach. That's what I've found so far.
