Oh no!!!
I guess I'm always up for this again. I remember being absolutely no help last time (in fact, I remember my other, locked username being a red herring, apparently) but I am older and wiser now.
I will contribute that the statue shown upon clicking the right-hand page tab is the Rape of Polyxena at the Loggia dei Lanzi. Wasn't that a clue to another game, a long time ago?

hay z, you can't see the game? not like you to be so coy!!
i, for one, am talking about naughts and crosses, i meant naughts, not rings, what was i thinking.
Oh, judge, your damn laws: the good people don't need them and the bad people don't follow them, so what good are they? - Ammon Hennacy.
In all history there is no war which was not hatched by the governments, the governments alone, independent of the interests of the people, to whom war is always pernicious even when successful - Leo Tolstoy.
Does Babbage know about these games?
Lets ask him. I would like to know.
i ran a search for Babbage, father of the computer apparently, he invented the first programmable machine. a clue as to how to play in that i suspect.
i ran a search on the site and it only threw up two posts, the one above and the post by drlau here which is weird in itself, don't you think.

i've had another thought that might be worth keeping in my, or not.
the dog ear corners that fold down at the top of the page are weird, the rectangles on the left side look like they are proportional to the golden ratio. the one on the right looks all atommy and ringy, i wonder if there's some significance to them.

"The first truth is that the liberty of a democracy is not safe if the people tolerate the growth of private power to a point where it becomes stronger than their democratic state itself. That, in its essence, is fascism—ownership of government by an individual, by a group, or by any other controlling private power." Franklin D. Roosevelt
So I am looking and I visit the page, but all I get is a password thing.
I need help!
Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by every moment that takes your breath away.
twilight, where are you going that you get a "password thing"? What you want to do is click on the "event I" and "event II" threads in the FTR sub-forum,(the one that opens when you click on the left flap at the top of the screen) it's fairly self explanitory from there and you can look in the "event II thread" thread to see what progress others have made so far. If you need anything else, feel free to ask.

No, I see it too, Pdoke. When you click the right-hand dogear, and click the original picture of Polyxena, you get a second picture with the text "Prepare Yourself!" Clicking that gets you a sign-in screen.
Good find, Twilight! Although now we have to figure out the username and password!
