I would have to say at least 20 degrees higher than the ambient air temp in the room you were performing this action would produce results like you mentioned Waxy, I don't know about being able to see the air distorting, but there is a good chance you could...
Anyone else have input on this?
Hey Waxy, next time you are going to try this, get a basic thermometer at room temp, and try to see if you and your friends can get the thing to heat up past 100 degrees with your construct, catch it on vid to if you can, I would love to see it.
Lets start with my dreams. I recently had a dream in which a few people came up to me and said, "Hey, we heard you could bend spoons and forks with your mind. Would you mind demonstrating for us?"
So, being the nice guy that I am, I did. However, at first I had a little trouble. Then I heard another voice, which was much like my own say, "If you're going to do a good job, focus on the feeling." The voice was disembodied, so I assume that it was my subconscious giving me a tip on how to do a better job at Psionics. So I did, and the forks started to come apart in my hands, least in the dream.
So, having gotten some advice directly from my subconscious, I began to use it in actual practice. Instead of straining myself physically, I relaxed and calmly focused on the tingly warm feeling that I identify as Psi.
Now, last night I creased the dollar and set it on its side. If you had been looking at it from above it would have looked like a backwards 'L'. I put my hand behind the 'vertical' side of the backwards 'L', and I focused on it and let my Psi do the work.
Very soon both sides of the dollar were curving inward in sudden and large 'jumps'. Then I withdrew my hand and pointed my fingers at the dollar bill. I focused on the feeling, and let it rush out of my fingers towards the dollar. The 'horizontal' side of the backwards 'L' jumped away from my fingers, as did the 'vertical' side.
I had just scooted the bill about 1/2-3/4 of an inch across a smooth surface, despite the friction provided by the bill itself.
As far as my next step, I'm thinking sliding empty soda cans.
Well, I can make my hand heat up. It's easier with my left for some reason even though I'm right handed. I haven't really tried too much to make things move. I have tried before, but only for just a minute or so before giving up.
My abilities are nothing compared with my Psionic Roll-Models, Apollo, Genjo, and Rainsong.
Apollo being able to slide a book/Ipod across a table.
Genjo has accidently teleported objects before.
Rainsong who had a plague of Phasing back in the summer of 1999, during which he would literally fall THROUGH objects he was leaning on(Though he says it hurts like no other).
My apologies for looking rather ignorant but is there any threads that talk about the instances mentioned? I would love to read about them. I made a piece of paper jump about a foot once but I have not been able to duplicate it. I can move a ring on a string inside a bottle that has been sitting on a solid surface for a long time till the ring stops. Sometimes I try too hard and all I get done is making things stop completely. It has been a long time sense I have done that too. Maybe if I can try again and get it on video? hmmm
