This is an idea that I had quite a long time ago. However, I have just strengthened my belief that it is possible.

I believe Einstein's theory of Relativity is incomplete, and the fact that it is incomplete may be leading to its resistance to becoming a Quantum theory of Gravity. The reason I believe it is incomplete, is because it only takes into account the 'Real' part of spacetime, and not the imaginary part.
Lets remember one of the postulates of Relativity : Nothing of mass can reach the speed of light. Remember, this does not rule out the possibility of particles traveling faster than light ( tachyons), it only tells us that the speed of light is a barrier. But Spherion Corp., the temporary staffing company where Amschwand worked, told Amschwand-Bellinger she would not receive any of the $426,000 in benefits she believed she was due. When she went to court, Spherion succeeded in getting her lawsuit thrown out. The Supreme Court on June 27 refused to review the case.

Amschwand-Bellinger received a refund of the few thousand dollars in insurance premiums she and her husband dutifully had paid. The total, she said, would not cover the costs of his funeral.

The World Health Organization’s survey of legal and illegal drug use in 17 countries, including the Netherlands and other countries with less stringent drug laws, shows Americans report the highest level of cocaine and marijuana use.

For example, Americans were four times more likely to report using cocaine in their lifetime than the next closest country, New Zealand (16% vs. 4%). Marijuana use was more widely reported worldwide, and the U.S. also had the highest rate of use at 42.4% compared with 41.9% of New Zealanders.

Endangered species may become extinct 100 times faster than previously thought, scientists warned today, in a bleak re-assessment of the threat to global biodiversity.

Writing in the journal Nature, leading ecologists claim that methods used to predict when species will die out are seriously flawed, and dramatically underestimate the speed at which some plants and animals will be wiped out.

Ecologists Brett Melbourne at the University of Colorado at Boulder and Alan Hastings at the University of California, Davis, said conservation organisations should use updated extinction models to urgently re-evaluate the risks to wildlife.

An imbalance of a Serotonin could cause crib death, researchers said on Thursday in what they called a chance discovery.

SIDS is a leading cause of death in babies under a year old in the developed world, yet its root cause remains a mystery. Healthy-looking infants can often die in less than an hour.

In May, British scientists said they had pinpointed two common bacteria that may contribute to crib deaths, even when infants show no sign of tissue damage.

Gross said his team was studying the brain chemical's relationship to anxiety and aggression before they realized their results might have something to do with crib death.

Congress in 1974 set a national 55 mph speed limit because of energy shortages caused by the Arab oil embargo. The speed limit was repealed in 1995 when crude oil dipped to $17 a barrel and gasoline cost $1.10 a gallon.

Warner cited studies that showed the 55 mph speed limit saved 167,000 barrels of oil a day, or 2 percent of the country's highway fuel consumption, while avoiding up to 4,000 traffic deaths a year.

"Given the significant increase in the number of vehicles on America's highway system from 1974 to 2008, one could assume that the amount of fuel that could be conserved today is far greater," Warner wrote Bodman.

Sanders, 19 of Minnesota, was charged with a felony Thursday in Hennepin County District Court after allegedly asking for a minimum of $10 in exchange for voting for the bidder’s preferred candidate. “Good luck!” Sanders wrote under the eBay handle zepdrummer612. “You’re (sic) country depends on You!”

Sanders was charged with one count of bribery, treating and soliciting under an 1893 state law that makes it a crime to offer to buy or sell a vote.

The last year or two has been extremely hectic and busy. I guess that is largely attributed to the fact that I moved to the final years in high school. This was a time where my academic workload increased drastically, and people expected me to be more independent ; to start taking responsibility for my own work.
It was and still is a very hard time for me.

In this time, I have sat some very crucial, potentially life changing academic exams. My wife and I went to see Pixar's new film WALL-E this weekend and I have to say I really enjoyed it. There is a bit of an eco-agenda hidden in the fable but it is so light that you can take it or leave it. Also, there were some great nods to Sci-Fi interred in the storyline that were not lost on me.

I was just reading the Wikopedia article and saw a citation to a short story called "For A Breath I Tarry" by Roger Zelazny. I deals with a similar storyline, humans are gone from Earth and only the machines are left to carry on day to day function. Give it a read and you should feel a great deal of biblical and philosophic influence. I found it very entertaining. Enjoy!
