From Flab to Fab! ITB

My first blog on ID.....

So my wife comes home the other day after a fun filled adventure of running her many errands in and around town collecting groceries, kids, paying debtors, trying to close some deals with home buyers yada yada.

Well in the meantime of all these tasks she is performing she happens to stop for a little break to have lunch with another mom friend she has. Come to find out her friend is seeing someone that is an pilot, or better yet has his instructors license for piloting!

Now as some of you may know I, back in the day, used to dream of becoming a pilot but had my asperations cut short when I was planning to go in the military and become a fighter pilot. Not gonna happen, due to my poor eyesight and awkward height (they told me I was too tall but to this day call bunk...), so I all but gave up on wanting this for myself and went into an apprenticeship, got married, had children and well the rest is history with all but a fleeting memory of wanting to do this before I get too old.

Well now I have come across an opportunity to finally go for my dream and have the chance to learn to become a pilot! Free of charge non the less offered to me from this person I have not even met yet. I have never been so excited in my entire being which leads me to this first entry in what I hope to be a long log of my experience/s in learning to become a pilot.
